Screen Capture Mac Os Catalina

Use the Screenshot toolbar

  • When doing a Screen Capture in Canvas Studio, the option to record from a webcam in addition to recording the screen isn't working. I've tried it on 2 different Macs running macOS Catalina (10.15) in Google Chrome and Safari with the same symptoms.
  • That continues with macOS Catalina. On a desktop Mac, press Command-Shift-5 to summon the screen capture window. Choose from Capture Entire Screen, Capture Selected Windows, or Capture Selected Portion to select and capture a portion of the screen.
  • You can execute Shift-command-3 to capture the whole screen, and it works in all macOS versions. The second button is to capture a screenshot of a selected window in macOS 10.15. Click on this option from the control toolbox and place the camera on the desired window.
  • Mac OS screenshot organization. If you take a lot of screenshots then you’re probably way too used to your Downloads folder or Desktop being clogged up with images that have filenames like “Screen Shot 2019-XX-XX at 21.36.15”. Unfortunately, this inelegant and cluttered outcome is the default Mac screenshot shortcut.

This pretty much wraps up Python Screen Capture of RIGOL 1054Z on macOS Catalina Using NI-VISA. Hope at least one RIGOL user finds this helpful. Final capture at the standard 800px width (versus the 1024px width I have created by enlarging 800px to 1024px width).
